Primarily we buy houses, rehab them, and then resell them or we keep some houses as rentals. We do work with a lot of real estate agents; a lot of agents refer business to us. Some of the best referrals are houses where somebody lived there a long time, and maybe they moved into a nursing home, or assisted living center, or passed away, or something. The house is dated and it has a lot of clutter and stuff in the house, and the people that are selling it, to which is quite often either the kids or up an older person or the other person themselves and they just wanted to easy they’re not looking for top-dollar.
They’re not looking for fixing the house up and doing a lot of work they just want to easy and that’s all we can do we can do. Just make an offer, that’s an as-is offer. You can represent both sides of the deal so you get commission on both sides and it will make the process super easy, at least at the very least we can just get an offer in right off the bat so that we at least I got an offer to work with it. They can say yes or no to.
Also if they’re just going to a house, if there’s something that’s unusual, like one of the things that we’ve been able to help a lot of people with this if there’s a foundation issue and they just don’t know what to do with it. So where we can help with that so we need any scenario where you’re getting a listing and the house just isn’t in move in ready condition, and the sellers really not wanting to do the work to make it into move in condition is a great lead for us.
