One of the questions that I am frequently asked is, ‘What are some of the reasons that people sell their house to FasterHouse?’ The biggest reason is we make it very easy. It is kind of like pushing the ‘Easy Button’. And usually the people that sell their house to us need ‘easy’ for some reason. Either the house needs some repairs…it is maybe very dated or needs some work done to the house…or they just need to sell it very quickly for some reason. For one reason or another, they don’t want to do the traditional real estate agent thing. Those are the reasons why.
So, some of the benefits we provide are, we buy it ‘as-is’…you don’t have to do any updates or repairs. Other than me or one of my buyers coming out to take a look at the house, there are no other inspections that are needed…you don’t have to fix up a bunch of things that a building inspector came by and said you had to fix up, whether that’s a building inspector hired by the buyer or even a municipal occupancy inspection.
We’ll buy it ‘as-is’. You don’t have to do all of those repairs. There are no real estate commissions, so if you sell the house to us, you don’t have to pay a 6% or 7% real estate commission to an agent or anything along those lines. We have been in business here in the St. Louis metro area for over 10 years, and I and all my buyers live here and work here in the St. Louis metro area, so we know the area very well. We are very educated and have been in the real estate business for a long time, so we know how the whole process works.
